Foreign Minister delivers President’s message
Eritrea’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, yesterday delivered a message from President Isaias Afwerki to President Omar Hassan Al-Beshir of the Republic of Sudan.
The message focuses on the strengthening of bilateral relations and partnership, as well as regional and international developments of interest to both countries.
The Eritrean delegation which also included Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Head of PFDJ Political Affairs, also met and held talks with Gen. Bakri Hassan Saleh, First Vice President.
NUEW President in Khartoum
The President of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW), Ms. Tekh’a Tesfamichel, held talks with the Chairperson of the Women’s Union of the Republic of Sudan (ROS), Ms. Meryem Osman, in Khartoum on November 30th. Read more
Ethio-Sudan border: Unidentified armed men stir tension

The Assistant of the President of the Republic, Engineer, Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid has given directives to Kassala state to develop relations with the state of Eritrea via economic, cultural and social communications, and the exchange of the official relations particularly across the boarders areas. Senior Eritrean Delegation visits Sudan
A senior Eritrean government delegation led by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Berhane Habtemariam, is visiting Sudan for bilateral talks on economic cooperation and to exchange experiences and best practices in the financial sector.
The Eritrean delegation includes Mr. Hagos Ghebrehiwet, Head of Economic Affairs of the PFDJ, and other senior government officials. Read more
