Solar energy introduced in Adiquala Hospital
Adiquala, 29 February 2012 – Adiquala Hospital, besides receiving 24-hour electricity supply, has introduced solar energy for emergency instances, disclosed Mr. Sirak Debas, director of the hospital. Foreign Minister Attends First...
Asmara, 6 April 2011-The Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, took part in the first conference of International Organization of Alternative Energy which was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from 3 to 5 April.
The conference that was attended by delegates from 148 countries and 5 international organizations, conducted deliberations on the cause and consequences of climate change, the volume of energy demand and its limited supply and air pollution and its consequences, as well as the role of alternative energy in national development and global stability and the environment.According to reports, the delegates reached common consensus on the agenda items that were deliberated upon.
Meanwhile, a council of the International Organization of Alternative Energy has been formed, and that Eritrea has been elected member of the Executive Committee of the International Organization of Alternative Energy.
