Press Release: Eritrean Officials Concludes Successful U.S. Visit

H.E. Osman M. Saleh, Foreign Minister of the State of Eritrea and Mr. Yemane Ghebreab, Presidential Advisor and Head of Political Affairs, PFDJ departed today, 30 May 2013 after concluding successful 22nd Eritrean Independence Day celebrations with Eritrean communities around the U.S. 

The delegation attended the Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle and Atlanta festivities that included public seminars, entertainment and sports activities. The festivities concluded on Monday 27 May in Washington, DC with four days of spectacular activities attended by thousands of Eritrean from U.S. and Canada and friends of Eritrea.

The guests of honor noted that their visits with Eritrean communities were “very energizing, fruitful and productive.” The delegation was in the U.S. for a UN Conference.
