Nova Airways launches flight service to and from Asmara

Nova Airways launches flight service to and from AsmaraAsmara, 21 December 2013 – Ms. Askalu Menkerios, Minister of Tourism, today inaugurated the launching of direct flights by Nova Airways to and from Asmara-Khartoum-Juba, as well as  Kassala city. Speaking at the ceremony conducted at Asmara International Airport, Mr. Omar Mahjub, Legal Counsel of the Airways, explained that the launching of such aviation service attests to the growing relations of partnership between Eritrea and the Republic of Sudan.

He further disclosed that the Airline would shortly expand its flights to Cairo, Dubai and Jeddah cities respectively.

According to the provided schedule, Nova airways would fly Asmara-Khartoum twice a day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, while there will be one more weekly flight every Tuesday to Kassala city. The Asmara-Khartoum-Juba flight is scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Nova Airways has opened liaison offices in Asmara, Kassala, Khartoum and Juba in this connection.
