Media Accreditation to the Vienna International Centre

Media Accreditation to the Vienna International CentreHorna-Vienna| Bona fide representatives of the media – print media, photo, radio, television and film, news agencies and online media – who fully meet UN media accreditation requirements can be accredited to the Vienna International Centre (VIC) and therefore to all UN conferences in Vienna.

Requirements for Yearly Media Accreditation

Applicants need to provide the following:

– Completed online accreditation form
– A letter of assignment on official letterhead of a media organization
– Scanned image of a valid press card (national or international)
– Scanned image of passport/national ID card

All information required can be submitted as attachments of the online form. If you agree to the terms of accreditation and guidelines on media access to the VIC fill out the online form and submit with attachments. If you are interested in covering a specific UN conference in Vienna then just send an email request topress@unvienna.org. Media credentials are issued by the United Nations free of charge.

UNIS offers a press working area in the Vienna International Centre in the M-Building close to the press briefing room as well as rooms C0332-C0334 for visiting journalists.
