Eritrean Olympian Athlete Zerisenai won’t take part in international tournament in Moscow

Eritrean Olympian Athlete Zerisenai won’t take part in international tournament in MoscowAsmara, 31 July 2013 – The coach of Eritrean National Athletic Team, Mr. Livingstone Abraham, disclosed that the renowned Athlete Zerisenai Tadese won’t take part in the international tournament due to be conducted in Moscow from 10 to 19 next month.

Mr. Livingston pointed out that the Olympian athlete took such a measure so as to focus on marathon and half-marathon competitions, besides his motivation of leaving opportunity for fellow racers to participate in such international tournaments.

Accordingly, Athletes Teklimariam Medhin and Niguse Amlesom would participate in the tournament. Moreover, 5 of the 7 Eritrean athletes who met the minima points for the selection criteria would join them, while the rest 2 would be on the standby.

Besides, Nebiat Tefamariam is due to take part in the marathon competition of females representing Eritrea.
