Eritrean nationals in Frankfurt colorfully celebrate Independence Day

Asmara, 26 May 2011 – Eritrean nationals living in the German city of Frankfurt and its environs celebrated the 20th anniversary of Independence Day in a colorful manner.

The representative of community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy, Mr. Kahsai Tewolde, commended the Eritrean people’s commitment and steadfastness in the nation-building processes especially strengthening unity and rebuffing external hostility. He further stated that the past 20 years amply demonstrated Eritrean people’s commitment to live up to the trust of martyrs.

Foreign nations who participated in the event on their part lauded the programs presented and expressed deep impression with the Eritrean people’s patriotism.

An art exhibition highlighting the integrated rebuff as well as cultural activities featured.
