Eritrean National Interests Prioritizes The Interests Of the Youth

Asmara, 31 March 2011- In a seminar in Khartoum, Sudan for youth organizers of the front,  the head of political affairs at the PFDJ, Mr. Yemane Gebreab stated that Eritrean national interests prioritizes the interests of the youth.

Following extensive briefings on the political and diplomatic situation in the homeland, Mr. Yemane talked about the efforts to nurture knowledge and skills equipped youth and underlined that the achievements being registered in different sectors are mainly due to the youth.

Mr. Yemane finally reminded the youth to step up efforts in facilitating the nation building process.

The young participants on their part noted the importance of the seminar and said that they would enhance contribution towards the development endeavors.

Meanwhile, in a meeting they conducted, members of the PFDJ branch in Milano, Italy expressed their readiness to contribute towards the development endeavors in the homeland. The participants also assessed previously accomplished tasks and called for stronger organization.

In a statement he made at the occasion, the Eritrean Consul in Milano, Mr. Russom Gebregiorgis commended the role of the members’ contribution towards the national building process and called on them to further enhance their efforts. The meeting concluded with the election of a coordinating committee.
