Eritrean community members in the UK assert readiness to step up participation in national development programs

Eritrean Community members in the United Kingdom have expressed readiness to step up participation in national development programs. They made the pledge at a seminar conducted on the 2nd of March in London city.

Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Tesfamichael Gerahtu, the Eritrean  Ambassador to the UK, said that the Eritrean people and their leadership are in a position to further development activities without falling victim to the hostile Anti-Eritrea agendas designed to sap the nation’s development drive. He further called on the community members  to demonstrate active participation in State affairs so that the cherished national development programs may be fully realized.

Among the community members, Ms. Sofia Tesfamariam, called for enhanced community awareness as regards hostile external conspiracies against the nation.

Likewise, Mr. Mulubrhan Berhe, Head of public affair in the Eritrean Embassy in the UK and Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, chairman of the committee for the national Association branches, gave briefings focusing on ways and means of further reinforcing community resolve against external conspiracies.
