Citizens residing in Qatar express readiness to back up national development drive

Asmara, 27 August 2012 – The Eritrean community members in Qatar expressed readiness to back up the national development drive.

They made the pledge at a seminar they conducted on August 24 during which they held extensive discussion regarding the objective situation in the Homeland and the Horn region.

Mr. Ali Ibrahim, the Eritrean Ambassador to Qatar, indicated that the nation is witnessing considerable development vis-à-vis prevalence of peace thanks to the endeavors exerted by the government and the people pursuing the conviction of self-reliance. He further explained that the Government is paving ground for large-scale investment, and called on the participants of the seminar to become beneficiaries of such opportunity.

The participants of the seminar on their part voiced gratification over the accomplishments being registered in the Homeland, and expressed conviction that the conducive environment being created in the country attests to the government’s commitment as regards reinforcing the national economy.
