Asmara, 27 February, 2012- The Central region Assembly, in a meeting it conducted with the inhabitants reminded citizens to strengthen organizational capacity and enhance contribution in development programs.

In the meeting, the implementation of programs and the recommendations made during the regional Assembly’s 11th regular meeting was assessed and commending the participation of the inhabitants, called on them to reinforce participation.

The members of the Assembly explained that the national development programs and the activities to improve the lives of citizens, as well as the introduction of facilities and modern machineries have major contribution in the nation’s development drive and that the effort continues.

Mr. Berhane Kahsai, member of the Assembly, explaining the significance of participation of citizens in development programs, expressed the importance of stepping up the ongoing reforestation activities.
