Asmara, 2 September 2017 – Eid Al-Adha Al Mubarek, Hejira Year 1438, was celebrated yesterday nationwide. Senior government and PFDJ officials, religious leaders and thousands of the faithful participated in the event at Bahti Meskerem Square here in the capital. IL COMUNICATO STAMPA DELLA COMUNITA’ ERITREA SUI FATTI DI PIAZZA INDIPENDENZA
La Comunità Eritrea in Italia sta seguendo con non poca preoccupazione la situazione dei rifugiati africani in Piazza Indipendenza a Roma. L’edificio di via Curtatone ospitava cittadini eritrei, etiopici e somali tra cui molte mamme con bambini che le autorità e le istituzioni italiane dovrebbero tutelare offrendo loro un’adeguata sistemazione.
È un’immagine alquanto spiacevole quella di vedere persone che bivaccano all’addiaccio in una piazza dal nome evocativo e contraddittorio: Indipendenza. Tutta la città di Roma e ancor di più l’Italia intera non fa una bella figura ma soprattutto mette in discussione la sua tanto sbandierata accoglienza. Read more
