Book of Condolence opened at Denden Hall in Asmara in connection with the passing away of Veteran Fighter Woldenkiel Gebremariam

Asmara, 06 July 2013 – A Book of Condolence has been opened today at Denden Hall in Asmara in connection with the passing away of Veteran Fighter Woldenkiel Gebremariam, Minister of Local Government.

A number of officials from Embassies, the Delegation of the European Commission, Consulates, United Nations Agencies and international organizations have already signed the book of condolence, according to the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The book of condolence would remain open until next Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that Eritrean Embassies and consulates have also opened books of condolence.
