35 Eritrean residents of Riyadh attend training in basic Journalism

35 members of the Eritrean community in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, attended basic journalism course jointly organized by the Eritrean Ministry of Information and the Eritrean Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on the occasion, the Eritrean Ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Mohammed Omer Mahmud, said that the course has been given as part of the previous training offered in recent months.

The director of human resource department in the Ministry of Information, Mr. Tombossa Asmelash, said that such training would enable members of the Community to properly document events in their place of residence. He further called on the trainees to make good use of the skills they have acquired.

The Chairman of the Eritrean Community in the Saudi capital, Mr. Girmai Yemane, noted the benefits of the training and expressed appreciation to the initiative taken.
It is to be recalled that 13 members of the Eritrean Community in Jeddah previously received training in basic journalism.
